I have bet on millions of hands of twenty-one. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have gambled on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of funds at twenty-one. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or defeat the house, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy 21. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very thrilling sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a few months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see playing this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original $5 wager
Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first forty dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 bet
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
