black jack is a game that brings to mind an image of a rollercoaster. It is a game that kicks off slowly, but gradually picks up the pace. As you slowly build up your bank roll, you feel as though you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom collapses.

Blackjack is so remarkably like a roller coaster the similarities are unreal. As with the popular amusement park experience, your blackjack game will peak and things will seem to be going great for awhile before it bottoms out yet again. Of course you have to be a bettor that shall be able to adjust well to the ups and downs of the game given that the game of black jack is packed full with them.

If you like the little coaster, one that will not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the crazy ride is with a fatter bet, then hop on for the coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-stakes gambler will love the view from the monster roller coaster because he or she is not thinking about the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s a lovely feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to twist and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.

If you don’t, you will not naturally recall how much you enjoyed life while your bank roll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a great ride … your head in the air. As you are remembering "what ifs", you won’t recount how "high up" you went but you will quickly remember that devastating fall as clear as day.
